“Creating a connection and fostering curiosity is the key to communication.”

Anya, Founder of Boston Reach for Speech Therapy

About me

Hello, my name is Anya! I am a practicing Speech & Language Pathologist based in Boston, MA. My passion lies in fostering community, communication, and inclusivity. Through connection, understanding, and expertise, I aim to create a customized treatment that combines child-centered and clinician led therapy focused on the whole family dynamic approach.

The creation of Boston Reach for Speech Therapy was fueled by my passion for individualized and personalized therapy that integrates diversity and multilingualism. My expertise lies in working with children and adolescents with expressive and receptive language delays or disorders, stuttering and other fluency disorders, phonological and articulation delays, as well as autism, down syndrome, augmentative/alternative communication (AAC), and bilingual language development. I am also proficient in the assessment and treatment of language delays/disorders in bilingual children. I speak English, Spanish, and Russian.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology followed by a Masters of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. In 2015, I started my career in a private practice setting in Orlando, Florida, followed by working within the Cambridge Public School system as a bilingual Speech and Language Therapist.

I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and a license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
